Real estate investing is the best wealth-builder in the world and it is considered by experts to be one of the safest ways to invest your money. Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) offer a way for smaller investors to buy into big real estate. We are planning on forming a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) to provide the investors with the opportunity to participate in the ownership of high quality income producing real estate while at the same time maintaining liquidity.

Our investment strategy will be to invest only in retirement communities outside the United States of America, which will be developed by Overseas Resort Communities, Inc. or any of its affiliated companies. Our REIT will be focused on the acquisition, ownership and development of income producing real estate properties in resort-style retirement communities. Many of the residents in those communities, which are qualified or accredited investors, might want to take advantage of the opportunity of owning part of the community where they live. Our primary objective will be to provide increasing dividends and capital appreciation for our shareholders.

Since Overseas Resort Communities will be like small town with all the amenities included, there will be the opportunity to own a diversified portfolio of income-producing properties and also the opportunity to provide mortgage capital to persons buying properties in those resort-style retirement communities. We will focus on office, medical clinic, shopping center, hotel, retail, storage center and multifamily real estate investments.

Our Real Estate Investment Trust will be a “Hybrid REIT”, which is a REIT that combines the investment strategies of both “Equity REITs” and “Mortgage REITs” by investing in both properties and mortgages. An “Equity REIT” owns, or has an "equity interest" in, rental real estate. A “Mortgage REIT” makes or owns loans and other obligations that are secured by real estate collateral.
