Our Assisted Living Facility will be within the AARP’s (American Association of Retired Persons) definition: “An assisted living facility is a residential setting that provides or coordinates personal care services, 24-hour supervision, scheduled and unscheduled assistance, social activities, and some health-related services. Assisted living provides a homelike atmosphere and is designed to accommodate residents' changing care needs and preferences”. Besides, we will comply with the ADA’s (American with Disability Act) specification. Therefore, our Assisted Living Facility and all the public areas in our communities will be barrier-free and totally accessible.

We recognize that sometimes people need a little help with their daily activities. In those instances, our plan is to offer cozy apartments with a helping hand. Assisted Living residents will be afforded the opportunity to remain as independent as possible. Our concept of assisted living emphasizes personal dignity, autonomy, independence and privacy.

We will offer Assisted Living services in comfortable studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, which are designed to help residents maintain independence. These spacious accommodations provide a place where residents who need a little help with the activities of daily living can truly enjoy life. Caregivers will be available to help residents with activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, eating, and mobility. Services include three meals a day, weekly housekeeping, local transportation, laundry services, health and wellness programs, medication supervision, and social and recreational activities.

Assisted Living residents wont be isolated from the rest of the community. The area will be always open to visitors. Residents will maintain their independence while enjoying their own tailored, personalized program of care. Spouses can even continue to live together in apartments.

Everything will be included in one monthly fee (the only exceptions are telephone and rental insurance). That means no more mortgage payment, electric or water bills, property taxes, yard care, maintenance fees, housekeeping costs, and the list goes on and on. We will provide services to all persons without regard to gender, race, color, creed, national origin, handicap, or age, providing that criteria for admission and treatment are met. In order for a person to be admitted to the Assisted Living Unit, the resident must be able to do the following unassisted:
*         Eat and Drink
*         Go to the Dining Room
*         Care for own Toileting Needs
*         The resident must not exhibit behaviors that are disruptive to others
           or that cause harm to self or others.
